Packaging Line Technician

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £32,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum plus shift allowance and exceptional benefits

Shifts: Mornings & Afternoons

Location: Birmingham

Are you a hands-on technician with a background in machinery such as CNC, press or automated equipment? Do you thrive in fast-paced production environments where problem-solving and technical expertise make a real difference? If so, we want to hear from you!

As a Packaging Line Technician with a leading manufacturer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients packaging machinery runs smoothly, efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for setting up production lines, troubleshooting and resolving issues and keeping machinery performing at its best to meet production targets.

What You'll Do

• Set up and prepare packaging machinery for daily production runs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues quickly to minimise downtime.
• Operate, monitor and adjust machinery during production to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Carry out routine checks, adjustments and basic maintenance.
• Work closely with production teams and supervisors to deliver high-quality output.
• Uphold strict health & safety and quality standards at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with machinery (e.g. CNC, press machines or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions or SOPs.
• A proactive, safety-conscious mindset with excellent attention to detail.
