Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Press Setter for a Coventry manufacturing operation. You will set up and operate press tooling and machinery across multiple production areas, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.

Work closely with the Production Controller to plan and prioritise tasks, support operators, report faults promptly and maintain high health and safety and ISO 9001 compliance. Hours are 08:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Press Setter or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Knowledge of press tooling setup and machine operation.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing production requirements.
• Forklift experience or a valid counterbalance licence would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary starting from £28,000-£30,000per annum, depending on experience.
• Further salary progression depending on power press training, forklift licence and relevant skills.
• Normal hours: 08:00–17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30–15:00 Friday.
• The factory operates between 06:00 and 19:00, so start and finish times may vary within these hours to meet production and operational requirements.
• Any changes to the normal working pattern will be communicated with reasonable notice wherever practicable.
