Job summary

Industrial Recruitment Services ltd (IRS) is recruiting for a Press Setter / Operator to set up and operate press machinery, reading engineering drawings and ensuring components meet quality specs. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Dudley, working 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will work in a manufacturing environment, maintain safety, complete production records, and contribute to meeting daily targets.

Qualifications

• Previous press setting/operating experience is essential.
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Able to read and understand technical/engineering drawings.

• Setting up tooling and adjusting machinery for production runs.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Checking finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Carrying out routine quality checks during production.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Following all company health & safety and production procedures.
• Meeting daily production targets and deadlines.
• Completing basic production records and paperwork.

The Role

IRS Group are currently recruiting for The Role of Press Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press machinery to produce high-quality components to specification. Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or press work environment is essential.

Daily Duties

• Setting and operating press machinery safely and efficiently

About You
