with a fantastic business support organisation that is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and well-organized press & PR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a creative eye, strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Media Relations:
  2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with local and regional media outlets.
  3. Draft press releases, articles, and statements to proactively share news and information.
  4. Ensure all content aligns with KPIs and organizational objectives.
  5. Respond to media inquiries promptly and facilitate interviews with representatives.
  1. Public Relations:
  2. Develop and implement public relations plans and campaigns to promote events, programs, and initiatives.
  1. External Communications:
  2. Create compelling content for the organisation’s website, social media channels, newsletters, and other communication platforms, including the quarterly magazine.
  3. Produce engaging materials such as brochures, reports, and presentations.
  4. Manage the organisation's presence at external events and conferences.
  1. Measurement and Reporting:
  2. Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies using KPIs and metrics.
  3. Report on content success across all channels to inform future content creation.
  4. Utilize the CRM system to track activity and interests; manage external contracts to meet objectives.
Key Objectives/Targets
  1. Develop a content strategy aligned with organizational goals and interests.
  2. Create high-quality, engaging content, including articles, blogs, videos, and infographics regularly.
  3. Implement strategies to increase engagement and content usage among businesses, members, and the media.
  4. Secure media coverage.
  5. Maintain an up-to-date database.
  6. Encourage member participation in media opportunities and provide insights on relevant topics.
  7. Establish and monitor KPIs related to content engagement, media visibility, and membership utilization.
  8. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to capitalize on revenue opportunities.
