Alliance Personnel are seeking a Press Operator to join one of our engineering clients based in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of pressing machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality components.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

1. Operate pressing machines, ensuring they are set up correctly for each job.
2. Monitor production processes and adjust machinery settings as necessary to maintain quality standards.
3. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
4. Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
5. Collaborate with team members to assemble components as per specifications.
6. Utilise basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
7. Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm
