Location: Worcester

Pay Rate: £13.52 per hour

Hours: Full Time, Temp-Perm Opportunity

Are you looking for a hands‑on role in a busy manufacturing environment? Our client are a leading manufacturer based in Worcester, looking for a motivated Press Operative Packer to join their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, production, factory, machine operative, packing or press operating experience. If you have a strong work ethic, good attendance and can work accurately in a fast‑paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 2:30pm
• (Two paid 15‑minute breaks per day, 30‑minute unpaid lunch break)

The Role

As a Press Operative Packer, you will be working on a high‑speed production line manufacturing metal connector plates. The presses operate at high speeds, making this a fast‑paced role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Packing connector plates as they come off the production line
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any defects
• Working efficiently to keep pace with production output
• Maintaining a safe and organised working area
• Following company quality and safety procedures
• Supporting production targets and team objectives

What We're Looking For

• Previous press operating experience would be advantageous
• Alternatively, experience within a busy manufacturing, packing or factory environment
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑moving production environment
