Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Press / Machine Assistant in Wellingborough for a temporary ongoing role with a potential permanent position after 12 weeks. Start date ASAP, with a weekly rotating shift pattern (Mon-Fri).

Press / Machine Assistant

Location: Wellingborough

Shift: (Apply online only) and (Apply online only) Weekly Rotating | Monday-Friday

Duration: Temporary ongoing, with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful weeks

As a Press / Machine Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing printing plates ready for the presses.
• Preparing inks using an ink mixing system.
• Assisting printers with setting up and running presses.
• Laying printing plates.
• Fitting cutters and plates.
• Ensuring daily production schedules are met.
• Maintaining daily cleaning and basic machine maintenance.
