Job description

Join to apply for the Press Brake Supervisor Nights role at Polyseed SSD Sdn Bhd.

Our client is a reputable company seeking expansion after another successful year in manufacturing. They are currently hiring for their production facility in Nottingham on a permanent basis.

Role Overview:

As a Press Brake Supervisor, you will operate CNC Brake presses, including setting, tooling, maintenance, and reading technical drawings. Experience working with Stainless Steel and Aluminium is essential.

Working Hours:

4 on 4 off night shift, starting at 18:00.

Key Duties:

  1. Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
  2. Manage a team of 2-4 operators.
  3. Monitor machine operation through visual and auditory cues.
  4. Set up machines by loading materials.
  5. Perform routine preventative maintenance.
  6. Complete paperwork and digital records.
  7. Apply continuous improvement and lean principles.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of press brake tooling.
  2. Experience with Amada, Bystronic, LVD, Trumpf, or similar machines.
  3. Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  4. Previous manufacturing or production experience.
  5. Willingness to learn and develop.
  6. Flexibility for continental shifts if required.
