RECRUITMENT HELPLINE presents an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Nelson, Lancashire. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience and be responsible for operating press brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components.

This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £16.00 - £18.00 per hour, a flexible working schedule with an option for a 4-day week, and potential for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Press Brake Operator.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada Press Brake machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Inspect and measure finished products for accuracy.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations.

About The Role:

The company are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend, shape, and fabricate metal components to precise specifications.

Responsibilities Include:

• Set up and operate Amada Press Brake machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Inspect and measure finished products for accuracy
• Perform routine machine & tooling maintenance and daily Health & Safety checks.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations at all times

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Press Brake Operator
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and quality control
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work Monday-Thursday, 07:00 - 17:00 after probation
