Job summary

A precision engineering firm in East Midlands is seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator/Setter to join their growing manufacturing team. The role requires 1-2 years of experience with CNC machines and the ability to read technical engineering drawings. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm and Friday from 8am to 1:30pm, with a pay range of GBP15-17 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years+ experience in bending and pressing parts on an Amada Press.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC Trumpf Trubend 7036 / Trumpf Truma press V85 machines.
• Working to tolerances of 0.25mm.
• Maintaining programs and troubleshooting to eliminate programming errors.

Job description

We are currently working closely with a Precision Engineering company based in Pinxton who are expanding their manufacturing teams onsite and are looking to add another CNC Press Brake Operator / Setter to their team.

Shift: Mon-Thur 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-1:30pm (37.5 hours)

Pay: GBP15-17 per hour, depending on skills / experience
