Jobsworth Recruitment is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator/Setter to join a Cradley Heath manufacturing business in the West Midlands. You will set and operate CNC Bystronic and Amada press brakes, fold aluminium and steel profiles, and work from engineering drawings to produce high-quality components.

PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR / SETTER

Location: Cradley Heath, West Midlands
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour, depending on experience

Jobsworth Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator / Setter to join an established manufacturing business in Cradley Heath.

This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC press brake setting and experience, who is confident reading engineering drawings and producing high-quality components accurately and efficiently.

THE ROLE

• Setting and operating CNC Bystronic and Amada press brakes
• Folding aluminium and steel profiles
• Reading and working from engineering/manufacturing drawings
• Setting, adjusting and preparing machinery
• Quality checking finished components
• Completing production records and routine machinery checks

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous CNC Press Brake setting and operating experience
• MUST have set CNC Press Brakes before.
• Experience working with sheet metal or metal plate
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Reliable and positive approach to work

WORKING HOURS

Standard Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-4:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am-2:30pm
• 20-minute paid break + 30-minute unpaid lunch Monday-Thursday
• 20-minute paid break Friday

Reduced Hours Available

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-2:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am-12:30pm
