Job summary
Terex in Cookstown is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our production team. You will operate the press brake, bend metal to specification and help ensure on-time delivery on a 39-hour week with a choice of 4 or 5 days.
You will inspect sheet metal for defects, monitor quality during shaping, meet production targets, and uphold health and safety standards. Overtime may be required, and there is an opportunity to develop CNC roller skills within a global, values-driven company.
Qualifications
- Experience operating press brakes or similar metal-forming equipment.
- Able to meet production targets on a line.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Committed to Health & Safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate the press brake machine to bend and shape metal to specification.
- Inspect fresh sheet metal for defects and quality issues.
- Monitor metal quality during shaping and process.
- Meet production targets while working on the production line.
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety regulations and quality targets.
- Collaborate with team to drive continuous improvement.
