Job description

Develop your skills and advance your career with Connect Appointments - we're looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our client's team in Middlesbrough.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm - although flexibility is needed for back and night shift if the company needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Operating a press brake and sheet metal rolling machine
2. Preparing, setting up, and adjusting press brake as required by product plans and production schedules
3. Measuring and aligning materials to be used
4. Inspecting products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
5. Performing routine maintenance on the press brake
6. Maintaining a clean working area
7. Performing any other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. The ability to follow instructions
3. The ability to read, interpret, and follow production drawings and product plans
4. Basic maths and computer skills
