ABS Talent is recruiting a Bystronic Press Brake Operator in Keighley, West Yorkshire, for a busy sheet-metal fabrication environment. The role involves operating Bystronic press brakes, reading drawings, and setting tooling to meet tolerances.

You will follow production schedules, perform in-process checks, maintain a safe workspace, and benefit from overtime at enhanced rates and a weekly attendance bonus. This is a permanent, full-time role with day shifts and an early Friday finish.

Formación

• Experience operating press brakes in a sheet-metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Reliable with good attendance and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Bystronic press brakes to bend and form sheet-metal components from drawings.

Bystronic Press Brake Operator — Keighley, West Yorkshire

Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire

Job type: Permanent, full-time (assumed — confirm)

Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour starting, plus weekly attendance bonus and overtime at enhanced rates

Hours: 7:30am–4:00pm (Mon–Thurs), 7:30am–3:00pm (Fri). Overtime currently available from 6:00am on weekdays and Saturday mornings (6:00am–12:00pm).

The opportunity

ABS Talent is recruiting a Bystronic Press Brake Operator on behalf of a long-established commercial catering equipment manufacturer in Keighley. This is a busy, modern sheet-metal environment — a fibre laser feeding a bank of six press brakes — producing high-quality fabricated components for a well-known British manufacturing name with over 75 years in the trade.

The role

• Operating Bystronic press brakes to bend and form sheet-metal components to drawing
• Working from engineering drawings and job specifications
• Selecting and setting tooling for the job
• In-process checks to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements
• Working efficiently to production schedules in a busy fabrication shop
• Maintaining a safe, tidy working area

About you

• Experience operating press brakes in a sheet-metal / fabrication environment
• Bystronic experience an advantage
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• A strong eye for accuracy and finish quality
• Reliable, with a good attendance record (Attendance Bonus)
• A positive team player happy in a fast-paced environment
