Job description

Allied Vehicles is the UK market leader in the manufacture and supply of wheelchair accessible transport solutions. Allied also operates Scotland’s largest independent Bodyshop and offers a range of garage services to insurance, commercial, and private customers. The company is known for its quality, value, and customer satisfaction, which is driven by its dedicated workforce.

Due to business growth, we are recruiting for a Press Brake Operator to join our Pre-Production department.

Main duties of the role include:
  1. Read drawings, set, and operate the Press Brake.
  2. Complete all necessary company documentation.
  3. Comply with company control systems and methods, re-directing jobs if below standard.
  4. Maintain work areas and complete daily/weekly machinery checklists.
  5. Follow all Health & Safety requirements.
  6. Follow engineering drawings related to the bending of all part numbers.
  7. Report and address performance issues with machinery.
Candidate requirements:

Applicants should have experience operating a press brake, the ability to read drawings, and measure equipment. Experience working in a sheet metal workshop/environment is essential. Being Amada trained is advantageous but not necessary.

Working hours and pay:

Monday – Wednesday 9pm-7am & Thursday 8pm - 6am. Earn up to £18.28 per hour DOE + bonus.
