Job Responsibilities

1. Pressing using the Brake Presses to produce customers’ orders on time and to the correct quality standard
2. Setting up the machine – reading drawings, programming machine, tooling changes etc.
3. Marking up of pressed parts and packing
4. Robot Programming
5. Material Handling – manoeuvring of materials onto and off the press machines, either by crane or manually

About You

• Previous Press Brake operating and setting experience essential
• Ideally knowledge of Cybelec Software programming
• Ability to read, understand, and follow 1st and 3rd angle projection drawings
• Knowledge of working with different grades of metal
• Competent at using all forms of measuring equipment, i.e., Vernier, rulers, angle measuring devices
• A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
• Quality focused with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas

Working Hours

• 37.5 hours per week
• 0600-1400
• 1400-2200
• 2200-0600
