Job Title: Press Brake / Laser Setter
Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Salary: GBP15.26 per hour
Hours: 38.75 per week (Day shifts, Mon-Fri)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity
A long-established and highly respected manufacturer is seeking an experienced Press Brake / Laser Setter to join their skilled production team. Operating from a modern, well-equipped facility in Kidderminster, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with advanced CNC fabrication technology in a permanent, full-time role.

Equipment You'll Be Using
You will operate a range of industry-leading CNC machinery, including:
LVD Easy-Form 135t, 3m, 10-axis CNC press brakes with angle correction and CADMAN Touch
Long-stroke HFE-170 press brake for deep and precision bending
EML 2515 AJ Fibre Laser-Punch Combination machine for high-speed cutting and punching
Additional press brakes, laser cutters, and punch presses from top manufacturers such as Trumpf and Darley
In-house facilities also include MIG/TIG welding, powder coating ovens, and automated tooling systems

Key Responsibilities
Set, operate, and program CNC press brakes and fibre laser/punch combo machines
Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
Perform offline programming and make adjustments using CAM software (e.g., Blank CAM, Bend CAM, CADMAN-B)
Carry out in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
Support tooling maintenance and meet production and quality targets
Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For
2-5 years' experience setting and operating CNC press brakes and lasers in a fabrication environment
Strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances
Experience using CAM systems such as Blank CAM, Bend CAM, or equivalent
Reliable, detail-oriented, and works well within a team environment
