Qualifications

  • Infirmier(ère) qualifié(e) avec enregistrement actuel sous la NMC.
  • Prescripteur non médical (V300) requis.
  • Expérience en soins primaires ou en soins urgents nécessaire.

We’re Hiring: Prescribing Nurse – Duty Team (General Practice)
Location:LOVEMEAD GROUP PRACTICE, ROUNDSTONE SURGERY, TROWBRIDGE
Hours: 3-4 DAYS PER WEEK
Salary: Dependent on experience

Are you an experienced Prescribing Nurse looking to make a real difference in a dynamic and supportive environment? Join our dedicated Duty Team at Roundstone Surgery, where your skills, autonomy, and clinical judgement will be valued and developed.

About the Role

You will play a key role in our same-day care service, working alongside GPs, other nurse practitioners, paramedics, and allied health professionals. As a core member of theDuty Team, you will be responsible for:

Assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute presentations
Providing high-quality clinical care and prescribing safely and appropriately
Managing minor illness/injury and triaging urgent on-the-day needs
Supporting patients via face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
Contributing to a multi-disciplinary approach to urgent care delivery
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Nurse with current registration under the NMC.
  • A non-medical prescriber – Independent Prescribing (V300).
  • Experienced in working autonomously in a primary care or urgent care setting.
  • Skilled in clinical assessment, decision-making, and managing risk.
  • Passionate about patient-centred care and collaborative working.
  • Confident with digital systems (SystmOne experience desirable).
