Job description

Prescribing Clerk with Reception Duties Full-Time 37 hours per week

Due to forthcoming retirement, we have a vacancy for a Prescribing Clerk with Reception Duties to join our team. The main responsibilities include accepting and processing repeat medication requests from patients via telephone, online requests, and in-person at reception. You will also handle hospital correspondence related to medication requests. You will work as part of a team.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required to cover leave for other team members.

This rewarding role involves helping patients with their medication needs. We are looking for a well-organized, positive, caring, calm, resourceful, tactful, and flexible individual. Personal skills and team fit are most important, and full training will be provided.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, but we are also interested in candidates with experience in busy frontline customer care roles or in pharmacy, as transferable skills are valued.

Proposed interviews will take place on 5th June 2025.
