Responsibilities: As a Pre-K Teacher, you will be provided with the tools, resources, and training to:
- Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschoolers.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn through play.
- Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy into routines to develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials and play areas.
- Communicate openly with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development.
Qualifications:
- Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of children's behavioral and developmental stages and childcare licensing requirements.
- Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), problem-solving skills, patience, and flexibility.
