Job Description:

Job description

Fantastic Early Years term-time-only position, working shifts between 8:30 am - 5:30 pm during weekdays. Join a small and friendly preschool based in Swarland village, with children aged 2 - 5 years, located just off the A1 between Morpeth and Alnwick.

The ideal candidate will bring warmth and kindness to the setting, communicate well with children, parents, and colleagues, and maintain a positive, professional approach to caring for children. Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to share ideas and follow children's interests are essential to provide an engaging and enriching learning environment, supporting children to reach their milestones through play.

The setting seeks a qualified practitioner with a full and relevant childcare qualification. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. They are interested in candidates qualified at Level 2 and working towards Level 3, as well as those holding a Level 3 childcare qualification or higher (such as EYP, EYT, or QTS primary).

The role is available to start as soon as possible for the right candidate, with flexibility for later start dates if needed due to notice periods. There may also be opportunities to work additional hours during the holiday club and half-term periods.
