About the Role

The successful candidate will join Nasstar’s Presales team and be responsible for the scoping and creation of technical presales solutions and documentation, supporting the sales community in client engagements.

The role requires a confident, experienced, and self-motivated individual who can work independently and interact with clients at all organizational levels in both technical and business discussions.

Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing solution proposals, demonstrations, RFI/RFP responses, implementation strategies, designs, and Statements of Work.

The role involves collaboration with Nasstar teams such as Sales, Bid Management, Product & Propositions, Technical Delivery, Project Management, and Support & Managed Services. Flexibility for remote work and travel is essential.

Technical Expertise

The candidate should have experience and confidence advising clients on Wide Area and Local Area Networking, with a focus on secure networking concepts like SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SASE architectures, including services such as ZTNA, CASB, and FWAAS.

Responsibilities

Operate in a presales capacity, engaging at a senior level to define and own customer technology strategies. Manage high-value, complex requests, and create customer-facing artifacts for engagements.

Candidate Requirements
  • In-depth Fortinet & Cisco/Meraki presales solutions architecture experience, especially in SD-WAN & SASE/security networking.
  • Ability to produce sales support documentation, including requirements capture, scope, and technical proposals.
  • Strong client relationship skills and experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confidence and credibility to influence clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentoring skills to support other presales consultants.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and time effectively.
  • Recognized IT certifications from networking vendors (Fortinet, Cisco).
  • Experience in enterprise networking solutions, cloud security services, and public cloud connectivity (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).
  • Experience with service transition, large network transformations, and connecting enterprise networks to cloud providers like Microsoft and AWS.
