About the Role

The successful candidate will join Nasstar’s Presales team and be responsible for the scoping and creation of technical presales solutions and documentation, supporting the sales community in client engagements.

The role requires a confident, experienced, and self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with clients at all organizational levels in both technical and business discussions.

Central to the role is the creation and review of compelling solution-based proposals, demonstrations, RFI/RFPs, implementation strategies, designs, and Statements of Work documents.

The role also involves liaising with other Nasstar teams including Sales, Bid Management, Product & Propositions, Technical Delivery, Project Management, and Support & Managed Service teams. Flexibility regarding remote work and business travel is required.

Technical Focus

The candidate should have experience and confidence in advising clients on Wide Area and Local Area Networking technologies, with a focus on secure networking concepts such as SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SASE architectures, including services like ZTNA, CASB, and FWAAS, SWG.

Responsibilities

The Customer Solutions Architect operates in a Presales capacity, engaging at a senior level to define and own the customer’s technology strategy. The role involves working on high-value, complex requests from existing customers and competitive RFI/ITTs in the secure connectivity domain. The candidate will manage the technical aspects of the sales process and create customer-facing artefacts.

Requirements
  • Extensive Fortinet & Cisco/Meraki Presales Solutions Architecture experience, especially in SD-WAN & SASE / Secure Networking.
  • Ability to produce sales supporting documentation.
  • Experience leading responses to opportunities, including requirements capture, proposal creation, and ensuring technical and commercial accuracy.
  • Strong client and team relationship skills.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Confidence and credibility in presenting and conducting client workshops.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
  • Recognized IT certifications from networking vendors like Fortinet and Cisco.
  • Experience in large network transformation projects, connecting enterprise networks to cloud providers like Microsoft and AWS.
