Job summary

Roc Technologies, a UK IT solutions provider, seeks an experienced Presales Solution Architect to lead technical engagements and shape winning proposals across multiple industries. You will gather complex requirements, design innovative architectures, and commercially package offerings.

You will partner with sales, delivery, and partners, acting as the technical authority to drive transformations and customer success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture roles across multiple technologies.
• Proven track record in solution design, migration, and documentation.
• Experience with pre-sales, technical account management, and customer requirements gathering.
• Industry-recognised certifications (Microsoft, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper).

Responsibilities

• Gather functional and non-functional requirements from key customers for projects and programmes.
• Develop and maintain technical strategies, product roadmaps, and technical risk registers.
• Analyse customer requirements to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead workshops and provide technical leadership during pre-sales and solution design phases.
• Review and assure the quality of Statements of Work, proposals, and tenders.
• Provide hands-on guidance to delivery teams during the Discovery & Design phases.
• Act as the Technical Authority in programme governance and service review boards.
• Build strong customer relationships, presenting solutions with authority to key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and vendor partners to align technical strategy and innovation.
• Drive new opportunities within customer accounts and contribute to commercial assessments.
