This role requires leading the design and implementation of security solutions while engaging in pre-sales activities. Remote work is available when not visiting client sites.

Qualifications

Presales Security Engineer Job

The Presales Security Engineer position will be responsible for leading customer design, implementation of Security Solutions. This role will lead Technical Sales throughout the Pre-Sales cycle, by working with Account Executives, owning, and driving product demonstrations, POCs and evaluations to success. These solutions will include all aspects of the security portfolio, including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Okta, Cloudflare, Microsoft Security Solutions.

These include Advanced Datacenter, Security, Networking, End-User Computing, Cloud and Hybrid IT, Managed/hosted IT as well as advisory services.

  • Expected 80% focus on Pre-Sales activities and 20% on delivery tasks
  • Travel may be required to client sites
  • Work remotely when not visiting client locations
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and operationalizing security controls for various IT and enterprise systems.
  • Exhibit proficiency in multiple security technologies, such as Next-Gen Firewalls, SASE, NAC, DLP, SIEM, PAM, EDR, NDR, etc.
  • Possess strong knowledge of networking security concepts, including routing, segmentation, zones, NAT, etc.
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Autonomously prioritize and successfully deliver on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create comprehensive business and technical documents that cater to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute account strategies.
  • Design intricate networking and data security solutions and contribute to crafting quotes for customer sales presentations.

Technical Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years in an enterprise level security consultative role building and assessing Information Security architectures
  • Prior experience in a client facing Pre-Sales and consulting role
  • Experience with security technologies including, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cloudflare, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Okta, etc
  • Experience with security and deploying complex environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience with wired and wireless network design concepts
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills a must.
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible travel schedule and attend meetings/client visits within the assigned geographic territory and other locations as assigned
