Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. This role involves engaging with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, and others. The goal is to improve Dahua's business performance and reputation, ensuring healthy and sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver product pre-sales promotion by introducing new product features to channel customers, assisting customers in product selection, and collaborating with sales staff to meet sales targets.
- Define and manage a product roadmap that balances delivery with value, aligned with organizational strategy.
- Provide product training to technical engineers of channel customers to enhance their technical knowledge.
- Gather customer feedback on products, contribute to continuous improvement of technology processes, and communicate feedback to the product management team.
- Assist customers in preparing tender documents and participate in tenders to meet required standards. Support business partners such as distributors and resellers in brand promotion through promotional materials and events like trade shows and open days.
- Offer technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, respond to technical issues, collaborate with R&D on troubleshooting, and facilitate integration with third-party systems.
- Maintain effective communication with headquarters regarding new product lines and technical issues to ensure timely problem resolution.
Key Attributes:
- Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with effective prioritization.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, door entry, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, video/audio matrices, networks, and industrial drones.
- Ability to work independently, set strategic directions, and manage workstreams confidently.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in.
- Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data for decision-making.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Quick learner of new technologies.
