Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The Pre-Sales Engineer will collaborate with Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations Departments, as well as external clients such as distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, to enhance Dahua's business performance and reputation, ensuring sustained growth.

Main Responsibilities:

The Product Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for:

  • Providing product pre-sales promotion, introducing new product features to channel customers, assisting customers in product selection, and supporting sales targets.
  • Defining and managing a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Providing product training to technical engineers for channel customers to enhance their technical knowledge.
  • Gathering customer feedback to improve technology processes and communicating with product managers for continuous improvement.
  • Assisting customers with tender document preparation and participating in promotional activities like trade shows and open days.
  • Offering technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, troubleshooting, and integration with third-party solutions.
  • Maintaining communication with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues to ensure timely resolution.

Key Attributes:

  • Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm, access control, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video wall, network, and industrial drone products.
  • Ability to work independently and set strategic directions.
  • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical staff, influencing and gaining buy-in.
  • Analytical skills to handle qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
