Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The engineer will engage with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, and others to enhance business performance, reputation, and ensure sustainable growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide product pre-sales promotion, introduce new features to Channel Customers, assist in product selection, and collaborate with sales staff to meet targets.
  • Define and manage a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and delivering value.
  • Conduct product training for technical engineers within the channel to improve their technical knowledge.
  • Gather customer feedback, contribute to technological improvements, and communicate insights to the product management team.
  • Assist customers in preparing tender documents, support business partners like distributors and resellers in brand promotion, and participate in marketing activities such as trade shows and open days.
  • Provide technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with R&D and third-party integrations.
  • Maintain communication with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues to ensure timely resolution.

Key Attributes:

  • Experience managing multiple products and projects with effective prioritization.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, video/audio matrices, networking, and industrial drones.
  • Autonomous work capability with strategic direction setting.
  • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, influencing and gaining organizational buy-in.
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize data, and inform decision-making.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Quick learner of new technologies.
