Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The engineer will collaborate with Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments, as well as external clients such as distributors, system integrators, installers, and end-users, to enhance business performance and reputation, ensuring sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote products pre-sales, introduce new features to channel customers, assist with product selection, and support sales targets.
- Define and manage a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and value delivery.
- Train technical engineers of channel partners to improve their technical knowledge.
- Gather customer feedback on products, contribute to technology process improvements, and communicate feedback to product management.
- Assist customers in preparing tender documents and participate in tenders to meet standards.
- Support business partners with brand promotion at trade shows, Tech Day, Open Day, etc., in collaboration with marketing.
- Provide technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with R&D and third-party integrations.
- Maintain communication with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues to ensure timely resolution.
Key Attributes:
- Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm, access control, video conference, VMS, cloud storage, video wall, network, and industrial drone products.
- Ability to work independently and set strategic directions.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to inform decisions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Fast learner of new technologies.
