Job Position: Pre-Sales Engineer

Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The role involves engagement with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, and others. The goal is to improve Dahua's business performance, reputation, and ensure sustained growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide product pre-sales promotion, including introducing new product features to channel customers, assisting customers in product selection, and supporting sales targets.
  • Define and manage a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and delivery value.
  • Provide product training to technical engineers of channel customers to enhance their technical knowledge.
  • Gather customer feedback on products, contribute to technological process improvements, and communicate changes to the product manager.
  • Assist customers in preparing tender documents and participate in tenders. Support business partners like distributors and resellers in brand promotion through activities such as trade shows and open days.
  • Offer technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with R&D and third-party companies for integration.
  • Maintain communication with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues to ensure timely problem resolution.

Key Attributes:

  • Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, video/audio matrices, networking, and industrial drones.
  • Ability to work independently, set strategic directions, and influence others.
  • Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Quick learner of new technologies.
