Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support electronics solutions across the UK and international markets. This hands-on role sits within the Sales team, acting as the link between customers and the business, presenting products and helping convert enquiries into orders.

The role involves delivering product presentations and handling technical onboarding, with occasional travel within the UK and abroad. Hybrid working is offered after successful 3 month probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales or sales support in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical products to customers clearly.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally.

Pre-Sales Engineer | Electronics / Technical Sales Support | Up to £45,000

A well-established developer of electronic solutions is looking for a customer-focused Pre-Sales Engineer to support sales across the UK and international markets.

This is a hands-on technical role sitting within the Sales team. You will be the link between customers and the business — presenting products, understanding applications and helping convert enquiries into orders.

The role

• Support the sales team with technical knowledge in customer meetings
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations and technical briefings
• Understand customer requirements and recommend the right solution
• Handle product enquiries and help resolve technical or application issues
• Visit customer sites when needed to investigate problems and give practical advice
• Act as a point of contact for more complex or escalated queries
• Support customer onboarding and product training
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events
• Work closely with internal teams to make sure solutions are delivered smoothly

What we’re looking for

• Experience in pre-sales, sales support, internal sales or a similar customer-facing technical role
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• The ability to explain technical products in a clear, customer-friendly way
• Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting sales
• Confidence dealing directly with customers
• Willingness to travel occasionally in the UK and, if required, internationally
• Experience supporting international customers would be an advantage
