Presales Consultant - Value-Added Services

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, involving a combination of field visits, customer site visits, and remote work, covering Eastern England.

We have an exciting opportunity at RS for an ambitious individual to join our award-winning, innovative company as a Presales Consultant within our Value-Added Services/Solutions team.

What you will be doing in this position…

You will be on the road four days a week, managing a region within the UK to support our business in achieving significant growth across our diverse solutions portfolio.

You will support the Sales teams in winning opportunities, especially within the Inventory and Procurement portfolio, by bringing subject matter expertise to solution design and supporting the Account Manager throughout the customer journey.

Additionally, you will coach the Account Management team on the solution value proposition and design, work with Sales Leaders to ensure high-quality customer discovery, and help accelerate solution opportunities through the sales pipeline.

  • You are self-motivated, capable of developing your own agenda, and enjoy collaborating with regional teams.

Additional preferred qualifications include…

  • Continuous Improvement qualifications or experience.
  • Experience in a B2B environment such as industry, industrial distribution, logistics, or business services.
  • Background in value selling.
  • Business process mapping and optimization skills.
  • Business planning and project management capabilities.
