Job description

We are working with a leading telecommunications company based in Cambridge who are looking to add a Pre-Sales Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting sales team with sales process
2. Identifying technical opportunities
3. Answering tenders in a detailed manner
4. Delivering presentations and demonstrations to customers
5. Planning the launch of new products, internally and externally
6. Working with Product Management and Marketing teams to build on product messaging
7. Executing customer proof of concepts
8. Traveling to customer premises globally
9. Representing the company at customer-facing events

The successful candidate will have:

1. Experience in a similar role
2. Background in 4G/5G networks
3. Experience with Android devices (desirable)
4. Experience delivering technical presentations to large audiences
5. Ability to travel internationally on occasion
6. Proposal and tender experience
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
