This role focuses on providing technical support before and after product delivery, assisting customers and internal teams with system integration, specification, and basic design queries. It’s ideal for an engineer with a passion for practical problem-solving, customer interaction, and systems design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical presales support to assist with solution design and tender responses
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable products
• Offer aftersales support to customers, including troubleshooting, remote configuration, and documentation
• Prepare schematics and connection diagrams for simple to moderately complex systems
• Support site commissioning and testing (remote or on-site, as needed)
• Communicate with manufacturers to resolve technical queries
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, guides, and internal knowledge base

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience in the power industry, with contacts across utilities, consultants, panel builders, or renewables
• Strong technical background (a degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus)
• Comfortable working across different market sectors – utility, industrial, and commercial
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and CRM systems
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong work ethic
• 3+ years of experience in sales of smart power meters, protection relays, or substation automation products is preferred
