Job summary

Taylor & Francis Group is recruiting for a Prepress Coordinator to oversee production from manuscript receipt to final content, supporting external project managers and ensuring quality. The role is based in Milton Park with a balanced in-office and remote work pattern.

We value accuracy, organisation and strong communication, with full training provided and a salary around £33,560 per year. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Accustomed to prioritising and working to deadlines.
  • Organised and able to multi-task.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify spelling and grammatical errors.
  • An understanding of the importance of maintaining information relied on by others, ideally through experience of using a database.
  • A good communicator, both written and verbal, able to represent the company professionally and contribute to the team.
  • Basic skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work effectively, both on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working within budgets.
  • An aptitude and enthusiasm for working with new technology and dealing with people, and anability to adapt well to change.

Taylor & Francis Books is currently recruiting for a Prepress Coordinator to oversee the production of new titles from receipt of the author’s uncopyedited typescript through to delivery of the final content, providing support to external project managers and ensuring new books meet our quality requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

Location:

The successful candidate will be able to utiliseour balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within acommutable distance of theMilton Park (OX14)officeto ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations 3 days per week.
