Job Description

Vehicle Preparation Technician (£27,828 OTE £40,000)

Working hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm, with 1-in-3 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Salary: £27,828 per annum + uncapped bonus, with an OTE of £40,000+.

We are seeking a Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our dealership’s workshop.

Responsibilities include preparation, repairs, and maintenance of cars and vans across the dealership ranges, as well as vehicles from other makes and manufacturers.

Candidate Requirements

• Recent vehicle repair, service, and maintenance experience with a main dealer or independent garage.
• Experience working on heavier vehicles such as vans is an advantage but not essential.
• Accredited main dealer technician qualifications or working towards IMI Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Own tools.
• Full UK Driver’s licence.

This role operates 39 hours per week, with a rota including 1-in-3 Saturday mornings (8:30am to 12:00pm, negotiable).

We offer a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
