Job description

We’re supporting a longstanding Exeter-based dual franchise dealership in their hunt for a PREPARATION (Prep) TECHNICIAN.

Working Monday to Friday in a modern workshop and alongside a supportive team, your daily activities will include:

• New and used vehicle pre-delivery inspections (PDi’s).
• General used car sales preparation – servicing and consumables replacements.
• Accessory fitting for sold vehicles.

This role would be ideal for a Technician looking to come away from the mainstream tasks associated with the job, allowing you to focus on a different aspect, supporting the sales department in all aspects of preparing vehicles for display or customer collection.

To be considered you’ll need to be a competent automotive Technician who holds their NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum. You’ll be well-organised, managing your own time to ensure each job is completed to a good quality standard within the required timeframes.
