Qualifications

• Own set of tools and full UK driving licence required.

Join our team at Vertu Renault Exeter and become a valued Prep Technician.

We are offering a basic salary up to £36,440 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42-hour working week Monday - Friday - NO WEEKEND WORKING and includes an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

Your role as a Prep Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles. You will ensure PDIs are completed to the highest standards and within manufacturer guidelines. You need to work within agreed time frames, maintain high productivity, and always ensure exceptional customer service. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
