Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles.
  • Ensure PDI's are performed to the highest standard within manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain high productivity while delivering exceptional customer service.

We are offering a basic salary up to £36,440 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42 hour working week Monday - Friday - NO WEEKEND WORKING and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

Your role as a Prep Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines. You will need to work to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst always ensuring exceptional customer service. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving licence
