Qualifications

Join our team at Vertu Renault Exeter and become a valued Prep Technician.

We are offering a basic salary up to £36,440 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42-hour working week, Monday - Friday - NO WEEKEND WORKING, and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

Your role as a Prep Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. You will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards and are completed within agreed timeframes. Maintaining high productivity and delivering excellent customer service are essential. Quality workmanship and first-time fixes are core values that guide our work.

Qualifications and Skills
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3.
  • Your own set of tools.
  • A full UK driving licence.

If you hold a Level 2 qualification, we offer a fast-track progression plan including Renault training and NVQ Level 3 to support your career growth.
