Job summary

Greencore Group in London is seeking a full-time production worker for the Bow site. You will join a busy preparation area, ensuring ingredients meet the highest quality standards and safety practices.

The role involves working in a high‑risk environment, heavy lifting, and manual handling, with food prep and handling experience considered desirable. A 5‑day week is typical, with Sundays and Fridays off.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar environments is desirable.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in production in the busy preparation area ensuring high quality ingredients.
• Prepare raw materials and ingredients as part of a high‑risk team.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Assist with food prep and handling as required.

Shift Pattern/ Time: 5 days/week (Sunday and Friday off), 06.00-15.00

Rate: £13.36 hour

What you'll be doing:

• You will be an essential part of production, working in the busy preparation area ensuring the ingredients are prepared to the highest quality and standards
• Working as part of the high-risk team preparing raw materials and ingredients to be used to make the products
• This is a physical role that requires some heavy lifting and manual handling
• Food prep and handling experience desirable

What we are looking for:

• Good level of numeracy and literacy skills both verbal and written
• Ideally, experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar environment
• Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices
• Able to follow management instructions and procedures
• Able to liaise and communicate with other departments
• Basic Awareness and understanding of Food, Health, and Safety
• Ability to work under pressure and flexible
