St Catharine’s College in Cambridge seeks a Prep Chef to join their busy kitchen team. The role involves preparing vegetable dishes and salads, ensuring high-quality meals for students and guests. Ideal candidates will have kitchen experience and strong communication skills.
St Catharine’s College, situated in the heart of Cambridge, has an opportunity for a Prep Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You will be working on either the veg or larder section, preparing and cooking basic vegetable dishes and garnishes or creating basic or composite salads and protein dishes. This is a Monday to Friday role working from 7.00am - 3.30pm (40 hours a week). The successful candidate will assist the Kitchen Manager in providing high-quality meals to our community and conferencing customers, in compliance with Food and Safety Regulations and College policies.
This role is varied, offering a broad range of cooking opportunities from everyday College meals for students and conference guests to fine dining for more formal events.

The full-time hours are 40 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30pm.
