Job summary

Tru talent is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join our Crawley-based team. You will handle water-based paints, prepare vehicles, and apply paint using spray guns, ensuring a flawless finish. The role requires a solid track record in automotive spray work and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will work a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive package including a time-saved bonus. The position offers hands-on work in a busy workshop and opportunities for skill development

Qualifications

Experience with water-based paints and spray techniques.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality paint spraying from start to finish.
Stable work history in a car painting environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
Mix paint to match colours and apply using spray guns
Ensure smooth, even paint application without runs, sags, or imperfections
Perform touch-ups and finish work as required
Maintain and clean all painting equipment and keep a tidy workspace
Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations
Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and deliver high-quality results
