Job summary

JADE Windows & Doors, part of Woodlands Home & Garden Group, is seeking an experienced uPVC and aluminium Window and Door Fabricator in Batley. You will manufacture windows and doors for residential, trade and commercial customers, reading drawings and job sheets and ensuring high quality finishes.

The role emphasizes practical, accurate work with a focus on safety and teamwork, with stable weekday hours and opportunities to develop skills within a long‑standing British manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Previous aluminium or uPVC window and door fabrication experience.
• Good practical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read measurements, drawings or specifications.
• A strong focus on quality and safety.
• Reliable and responsible; able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in both aluminium and uPVC would be advantageous.
• Applications welcomed from installers, joiners or manufacturing operatives with transferable skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, prepare and assemble window and door components.
• Manufacture aluminium and uPVC windows and doors.
• Read production drawings, specifications and job sheets.
• Fit glass, hardware, locks, handles and other components.
• Operate fabrication machinery, equipment and hand tools safely.
• Check finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Report defects, material issues and equipment faults.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and organised.
• Work with colleagues to meet production requirements and support process improvements.
