Job summary

Daily Mail is seeking a creative Motion Graphics Producer to elevate our original video content across the website, social channels and YouTube from the London headquarters.

You’ll design visually striking graphics, collaborating with editors, journalists and producers to bring stories to life and reinforce our premium storytelling. A strong portfolio and expert After Effects skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience creating motion graphics for video, preferably in news or digital media.
• Strong portfolio of online video, social and/or YouTube work.
• Experience with on-air branding and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-impact motion graphics and visual assets for original video content across the Daily Mail site, social media, and YouTube.
• Collaborate closely with video producers, editors, journalists and wider editorial teams to develop innovative animated treatments for a broad range of story formats.
• Translate complex editorial concepts and data into clear, audience-friendly visual storytelling.
• Support both fast-turnaround news environments and longer-form premium video projects.
• Maintain and evolve brand standards, templates, toolkits and motion graphics guidelines to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, constantly pushing creative boundaries and suggesting fresh visual approaches and technologies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and creative excellence.
• Advise on the best practices for motion design in digital-video, tailoring work for platform-specific needs (site, social, YouTube, etc.).
