Job summary

Generator Power is hiring a HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to join our Warrington team. You will be delivering Generators and ancillaries to site and assisting engineers on site, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, on-site refuelling, and daily vehicle inspections.

The role is based at our Warrington depots, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, 40 hours per week. A clean Class 2 HGV licence and HIAB/Lorry Loader licence are essential, with ADR considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Clean Class 2 HGV (Essential)
• ADR or working towards it (Class 3, including tanks + other than tanks)
• Forklift Truck Licence (Desired, but full training can be given)
• HIAB /Lorry Loader Licence Essential

Responsibilities

• Load and unload Vehicles.
• Operate forklift truck.
• Deliver Generators and ancillaries to site and collect Generators and ancillaries from site.
• Assist engineers on site.
• Refuelling Generators on site and in dept.
• Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
• Installation and dismantle of Generators on customer sites.
• Completion of daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects to transport department.
• Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
