Job summary

Generator Power, the UK's largest privately owned generator rental company, are seeking a HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to join our Warrington team. This full-time role offers Monday to Friday hours, a 40-hour week, and the opportunity to work across our national depots delivering generators and ancillaries.

You will load/unload, assist engineers on site, handle refuelling, and complete daily vehicle inspections while ensuring paperwork is accurate and on time. Training provided for some licences.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Clean Class 2 HGV (Essential)
• ADR or working towards it (Class 3, including tanks + other than tanks)
• HIAB /Lorry Loader Licence Essential
• Forklift Truck Licence Desired, but full training can be given

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles.
• Operate forklift truck.
• Deliver Generators and ancillaries to site and collect Generators and ancillaries from site.
• Assist engineers on site.
• Refuelling Generators on site and in dept.
• Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
• Installation and dismantle of Generators on customer sites.
• Completion of daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects to transport department.
• Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
