Ready to spearhead your career? We’re looking for an experienced Premium Experience Director to lead our hospitality team in our electric motorsport mission!

The Role:

The Premium Experience Director plays a critical role in elevating the Formula E guest experience and maximising commercial opportunities through premium experience offerings.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, as the Premium Experience Director, you will oversee all aspects of premium experience delivery, including Emotion Club, Race Suites, Corporate events, catering, and VIP experiences within the FE Lounges.

This position requires a strategic leader with a strong operational focus, capable of creating exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth and exceeding partner expectations.

  • Premium Experience Strategy & Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for premium hospitality offerings, aligned with Formula E's commercial and brand objectives, identifying new opportunities and informing pricing through market research.
  • Orchestrating Seamless Event Delivery: Oversee the planning and execution of all premium hospitality events (which includes EMOTION CLUB, Race Suites, corporate events, and VIP products), catering deliverables across Paddock & Premium Experiences, managing budgets, timelines, and logistics, and collaborating with stakeholders for seamless delivery.
  • Defining the Gold Standard of Premium Service: Create and curate exceptional guest experiences that exceed expectations, aligning with Formula E's brand identity, and overseeing the entire guest journey.
  • Mastering Catering and F&B Management: Oversee the catering function for all premium hospitality events, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and innovative food and beverage offerings, while managing supplier relationships.
  • Accelerating Revenue Growth & Commercial Success: Support the Ticketing Director in developing a seasonal sales strategy for Premium sales, track key performance indicators for customer satisfaction, and ensure cost-revenue optimisation.
  • Driving Team Excellence: Lead and mentor the Premium Experience team, ensuring strategic oversight of operations and resources, while fostering a culture of excellence and professional development to achieve key departmental outcomes.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Adept experience: Highly experienced in a hospitality or event management role, with previous experience in a leadership position, ideally within the sports or entertainment industry with a passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences.
  • A solid foundation and proven success: Proven track record of success in creating and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Operational and financial acumen: Strong understanding of event planning, logistics, budget management, and catering/F&B operations, coupled with knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices.
  • An impactful leader: Excellent leadership, team management, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Problem solving and resilience: Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities under pressure.
