Sandmere Care Home in Margate, Kent, invites a skilled Home Manager to drive development, occupancy growth and high-quality care. You will lead a confident workforce, set expectations and ensure the home delivers warmth and professionalism to residents and families.

You will oversee governance, budgets and staffing, align strategy with market both self-funded and private payers, and prepare the home for its first CQC inspection.

Qualifications

• Proven Home Manager with experience leading sizeable care homes toward full occupancy.
• Experience in premium care and the self-funding market.
• track record of CQC registration and achieving Good or Outstanding ratings in previous services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sandmere’s development to achieve sustainable occupancy growth and strong inspection outcomes.
• Lead local sales and marketing activity; build relationships with professionals and community partners.
• Governance, budgets and workforce planning; provide data-driven decision making and staff development.
