Job summary

Soho House Group in London is seeking a Bartender to craft classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision and flair, while delivering a welcoming and sophisticated environment for our members and guests. You will support the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager and ensure the bar is fully operational, stocked, and presented to the highest standard.

The role includes ongoing training and opportunities to grow within a renowned hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Strong cocktail knowledge, including classics, techniques, and spirits.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a confident, calm presence during busy services.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
• Experience working with POS systems, stock control, and basic reporting.
• Team player with a flexible, professional and positive attitude.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Personal Licence or willingness to obtain one (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards always.
• Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.
• Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.
